Acupuncture

Hair thin, flexible needles are gently inserted at the body's acupuncture points to free the flow of blocked energy, leaving you feeling more relaxed, revitalized, and clear.  Many different health complaints are effectively addressed by acupuncture; the WHO recommends acupuncture for disturbances ranging from stress, anxiety, depression, and insomnia, to digestive problems, musculoskeletal pain, and women's health issues.

Cupping and Gua Sha

Cupping is found in traditional medicine systems across the world, from Egypt, Palestine, all across Asia, and even by grandmas from the Deep South of the US with Ball jars!  I was trained in Traditional Chinese Medical cupping therapies, and combine my knowledge of the lymphatic and fascial systems to increase effectiveness.

Manual Meridian Therapy

I offer "manual meridian therapy:"  hands-on qi gong healing techniques, visceral manipulation, cupping, and tui na massage techniques used in combination with acupuncture, or in needle-free treatments for clients who dislike needles.  MMT directs the movement of qi through the meridians, body, craniosacral, or lymphatic systems. MMT and  acupuncture mutually enhance one another for a unique and potent optimized treatment.

Therapeutic Massage

I have a wide range of techniques to address pain, stress, and the deep human need to receive loving, non-sexual touch.  Very few massage therapists practice for longer than five years, but I have over twenty-five years of practice.  This means I understand how to engage your muscles and nerves in just the right way for you to be able to get exactly that massage you've been looking for.

I specialize in neck and headache pain.
